Extensions and Alterations to form a contemporary dwelling in Alresford
The project comprises the amelioration of various elements of the existing house which had deteriorated over time due to lack of care of the property. Significant extensions and alterations significantly enhance the appearance and style of the dwelling located in the South Downs National Park. The proposal coalesces the exterior of the dwelling, introducing a rendered finish to the ground floor with the first floor walls and projecting elements finished with cedar boarding. The striking zinc roof and curved roof form to the main entrance articulates the style and presence of the building. The high quality materials and detailing significantly enhance the appearance and thermal performance of the dwelling.
